One of The UK´s worst serial killers has died today - twenty years after he killed five gay men.
Colin Ireland, 57, was known as the "gay slayer" because he infamously preyed on victims in pubs throughout London.
The murderer died at Wakefield Prison.s medical ward in West Yorkshire.
A spokeswoman said they think he died from natural causes.
"As with all deaths in custody, the independent Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will conduct an investigation."
Irelend frequented several cgay venues in Fulham where he posed as a gay man to lure victims.
He would then take them home, torture them and kill them.
Four men wee killed in just fifteen days, Sky News report. A fifth was killed weeks later.
The series of brutal murders came after making a New Year's resolution in 1993 to become a serial killer.
He was later brought to trial thanks to CCTV.
His victims included 37-year-old librarian Christopher Dunn, Perry
Bradley III, the 35-year-old son of a US Congressman and Andrew Collier,
