The star, famous for playing Miranda Hobbes in the HBO series, made the luxury purchase earlier this week.
Situated in the Noho district of Manhattan – which is an abbreviated way of saying north of Houston – the 2,500 square foot property is said to have four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
According to the Daily Mail, it is just a few blocks from where Sarah Jessica Parker, who has also just bought a new home.
Earlier this week Nixon courted controversy when she said that, for her, sexuality was a choice.
Gay activists condemned her for the remark, causing her to make a public statement to U.S. gay publication Advocate refining her views.mmunity after claiming that her sexuality, which she refused to define, was a
choice.
Nixon, who is engaged to her long-term partner Christine Marinoni, is currently starring in the Broadway production of Wit.
