Big Brother presenter Brian Dowling will host The National Diversity Awards at Manchester's Midland Hotel on 21 September.
The prestigious black tie event will celebrate excellent achievements of grass-root communities that tackle the issues in today’s society, giving them recognition for their dedication and hard work that positive role models, charities and community organisations do on a daily basis.
Brian Dowling, host of The National Diversity Awards 2012, said: "I am privileged to be hosting The National Diversity Awards and to be given the chance to witness so many positive role models and charities across the nation being rewarded for their efforts.
"I feel honoured to be representing an awards ceremony that is recognising diversity at so many levels. It is very exciting to be involved with such an event and to think what prospects the awards will bring to the UK."
