America's infamous Westboro Baptist Church picketed the Golden Globes ceremony in Hollywood, earlier this week.

Supporters of God Hates Fags pastor Fred Phelps rallied outside the Beverly Hilton hotel on Sunday evening, as celebrities entered the annual event.

Famous for their anti-gay stance, Westboro Baptist Church attendees were protesting that America's film industry promotes homosexuality.

It comes just months after they vowed to picket the funeral of Steve Jobs because, according to Margie J. Phelps, there is "no peace for man who served self, not God."

But the Kansas-based religious group was given short shrift by actors and actresses at the ceremony.

Why can't they be like all the regular cultists who try to isolate themselves from the rest of the world and bury explosives and weapons in their compound that the FBI go in and cause them to blow themselves up. Oh, right that's been done to death and the FBI aren't worried because they're banging on about FAGs, their regular targets. Why are there no laws dealing with civil disturbances in these states. Surely the so-called freedom of speech in the US has its civil limits; a point at which the offence it creates permits law officials to maintain the public peace and order. The fact that it is all one family who believe that they are the only people who will be saved at the end of days suggests that there must be a lot of in-breeding.

When is the civilised world going to stop knobs like Phelps' from registering these organisations as 'charities'? If you go to The Charities Commission website in the UK there are literally HUNDREDS of outfits registered as Christian or Muslim 'charities'. These are simply money-making vehicles for the people who run them. Indeed, many are expressly forbidden by their charter from giving ANY money away. They exists PURELY to make a living for their officers. It is a disgrace that this nonsense continues. Write to your MP and ask them to investigate the activities of groups like the christian institute which seems to exist purely to (a) provide its officers with a living and (b) verbally abuse gay people.
