Britain’s Got Talent star Tracey Lee Collins will headline this year’s Stoke Pride, it has been confirmed.
The series two semi-finalist will perform on the main stage at the event on Saturday 6 August in Northwood Park, the sixth year of Stoke Pride, which regularly attracts around 5000 participants.
This year’s event, which offers free entry to all, will include street artists, dancers and plenty of food and drink before the Stoke Pride After Party takes place at well-known venue The Factory. Other acts include Eli-Prime, Madame Faraccina and a range of local artists.
Andy Murphy coordinator of the LGBT Network, which organises Stoke Pride, said: “The difficult economic environment this year has meant that donations have been slow. However the community support has been incredible and we are very excited to be delivering one of the best Prides ever! We are still welcoming donations and other contributions through the gaystoke.com website”.
