A team of cyclists are preparing to bike 180 miles across Europe next weekend in order to raise money for the London Lesbian and Gay Switchboard.
The nine-strong group which has been training for several weeks will cycle from London to Amsterdam from 27 - 31 August.
The challenge follows the hugely successful London to Paris bike ride organised by LLGS volunteers last year raising £5,000 for the charity which offers listening, support and information through a national UK LGBT helpline.
With only have half the number of cyclists taking part this year, the team are fully determined to raise another 5k for 2010 and are appealing to the public for donations.
The money will help provide a vital service to people who urgently need support on issues around sexuality, from coming out to bullying, isolation and domestic violence.
