Katie Price has cancelled her forthcoming concert at London's G-A-Y club – days after her single failed to reach the Top 50.

The model was scheduled to appear at the capital's famous club this weekend in a bid to boost interest in her music career. It was specifically planned to coincide with her single Free To Love Again, which was released last Monday – but only debuted at number sixty.

Announcing the cancelled show in a statement, she said: "It's with great regret and disappointment that I will not perform at this Saturday's G-A-Y.

"Following recent events, it has been decided that this performance should be pulled from my schedule. I've been really looking forward to performing at G-A-Y as it's something I've always wanted to do.

"However after much consideration the last thing I want to do is put on a show which I am not completely happy with, so with a disappointed Jeremy Joseph (G-A-Y organiser), I would like to apologise to everyone who was planning on coming to see me and I will see you all again very soon."

No.60 is astonishing in itself. That means she`ll be in the Guinness Book Of Hit Records...FOREVER! Katie will need to buy up more cds and downloads if she is to get any higher.
