Gene Robinson has caused a near schism in the worldwide Anglican Communion after entering a civil union with his partner on 7 June.

Robinson and his partner Mark Andrew, who have been together for 19 years, tied the knot at St. Paul’s Church in Concord, New Hampshire, USA, before a congregation of 120 people.

Many observers believe a formal split in the communion is now inevitable.

Congratulations to Mr Robinson and his partner for entering a civil partnership it shows that he is quite happy not to let his religion and his private life conflict. The Church and the Rest of the World may condemn and judge Gay Church Members and or the rest of the World Gay Community for being gay and wanting to have what were all entitled to but anyone who believes in a fair loving deity would know that if it was wrong what we do being gay we would be smite by the deity. Were still here out and proud and part of the Universe. Lets all love and not quarrel kill or make war.

So split! People in the Anglican world seem to think if they just sit tight and don't disagree with anyone, they can say they're united.
