Hot on the high-heels of Village Manchester FC’s involvement in the Barcelona EuroGames comes the team’s entry into the Umbro International Cup being held in Manchester this month.
VMFC will be competing in the “festival of football” alongside 450 other teams from across the world and up to 7,000 players for the second successive year.
A spokesman for the team said: “Apart from being a fantastic way to prepare for the new season, it’s a great couple of days for supporters with plenty of talent on show.
“So if you are in Manchester why not come along and support the boys on 9 and 10 August!”
