Actor Ron Livingstone is suing online encyclopedia Wikipedia after the page about him wrongly claimed he was gay.

The encyclopedia site, which relies on users to create and update online content, is being sued by the star after his page on the site claims he is in a relationship with a man named Lee Dennison, reports TMZ.com.

The Hollywood actor is best known for his film roles in TV series Sex and the City and Band of Brothers.

Livingston, who married Rosemarie DeWitt in November, is accusing the site of libel and invasion of privacy, Yahoo report.

He is seeking unspecified damages.

Grow up Ron, Wikipedia is only run by a handful of people and is the fifth biggest information site in the world, obviously they cannot check every page all the time (there are millions of pages) This kind of thing happens every day and they are placed on by mindless idiots! If you win your claim you could shut down this very informative site and ruin it for the millions of genuine people that use it! Dudeabides.
