London Pride nominated for ES award

Pride London has been officially announced as a contender in the Evening Standard's Best Free London Experience in Visit London’s People’s Choice Awards.

Alongside the British Museum, Hyde Park, Tate Modern, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum, Pride London is the only two-week event in the short-list featuring comedy, film, theatre, debate, talks, walks, heritage, literature and much more.

Presented by Graham Norton, John Barrowman and Amy Lamé, Pride London 2009 was a massive success, featuring such acts as Darren Haynes, Jimmy Sommerville, UnkleJam and Dragonettes.

Annually attended by more than a million happy revellers Pride London is officially the largest outdoor event the UK.
